- Dany’s squirrel patrol skills are getting next level.Today was my first real run in 8 weeks. In early February, I got kicked in the toe playing soccer at school. It was diagnosed as a sprain, and the recovery has taken way longer than expected. Being forced to take so much time off reminded me how much I love and need running. I haven’t felt like myself without the daily dose of good brain chemicals being stirred up. Dany handled the extended break from running better than I did, but she says I’m not allowed to play soccer ever again.Alpine smiles. She’s at her happiest while outside and on the move.
