Summit of LeConte to start year 32. Ultrarunners are like cheap wine, we get better with age and get the job done without any frills.6 years ago I picked up Dany from my mom and sister. They found Dany, or Dany found them, when she ran out in front of them on a gravel road in Pikeville. She was just an 8 week old puppy that had strayed away from her litter and had a minor eye infection and mange. She was a rescue puppy in the truest sense. Dany has enriched my life more than she knows over the past 6 years. She’s my ride or die. All hail the queen. The opportunity to go crew and pace at @badwaterhq 135 is an experience I’ll never forget. It’s getting harder and harder to find positive news anymore. Go to an ultra and see the most supportive and determined community, and your faith in people will be restored. Massive kudos to @bwkerri for her 5th finish and Alexis for gutting out a 46 hour finish. #trainright #CTS #coachthatshit21 more miles completed on the AT. 363 total lifetime miles. Only 1,827 to go 😬
